Moving to Kuala Lumpar in Jan 2014

Hi

My name's Rachel I'm moving Kuala Lumpar In January 2014, with my boyfriend. I'm a 29 year old British nursery nurse, I'm qualified with a level 3 cache diploma and have 6 years nursery experience and have also been a private nanny for the past 2 and a half years, I've been looking at job websites and was wondering if anyone knew how easy/hard it is to find work in the childcare field?

Hi Rachel, you may try to write in to the many private hospitals in KL.

For a list of hospitals in KL you may visit.

With the hospital names you may google to look at their websites and possibly contact or email.

Good luck.

I would recommend you focus your search on international kindergardens / high standards private ones.
With the difficulty to find Indonesian / Filipino maids in recent years, the demand for professional nanny may be there.

(feel free to update the here-above if you find it needs updating Wink )

It'd be great if you came back and shared your experience / learnings in some time Smile

Good luck !

It's pretty easy to get job in childcare field or even as freelancer. Can get jobs from agencies https://www.nannysos.com.sg/ or advertise on mummy groups and forums.
