As most of you know, Malaysia set a minimum purchase price to foreigners.
This limit keeps on changing, and, to make things easier, some states don't follow the federal guidelines.
So here is a quick update on the latest limit and the exceptions to the rule
The Federal government set the minimum limit at RM500,000 and above.
The states that decided to not follow the federal guidelines and their own minimum limits are :
- Pahang RM750,000
- Selangor RM250,000
- Penang RM250,000 (for MM2H visa holders only)
- Sarawak RM300,000 (in the designated city of Kuching, and towns of Sibu and Miri only)
